why do they all seem to taste a small amount of power and then think they are more powerful then their superiors? why do they believe those who they ask to be delusional, the truth is the apprentice doesnt know the mechniantions of the master, so they will never truely know. if there are any real apprentices, people with an actual fire to learn contact me.

While interesting, I am curious, what has led you to make such a statement at this current time?

In response to that question, that attitude comes from two factors, the first being that they notice a change in their abilities and skills to the point that they are supirior to others. The second factor is that they have seen little evidence to prove that their master is stronger or wiser then they. If you as a master make a point to keep your apprentice bellow you and constantly remind them of your position and experience they wil never belive themselves to be greater than their master. By that i dont mean hold you useless title above their head, but rather let them know they things you are working on in your personal training because they will see how much more advanced you are in your training. For example your apprentice masters the psi ball and tells you about it, mention that you are learning to teleport your psi ball to different locations and people. That will make it clear that you are worlds ahead of them in technique and experience. Again the point is that if you dont want your apprentice to think they are better then you...remind them that they arent.

Very well put Aetos, it is good to remind those under you that you are above them; however, it is also good measure to let them know that they are still capable, as, if they believe that they will never reach your level or even get close, their efforts feel futile, and their morale lowers in the long run.

Of course, there is a difference between asserting your dominance and beating down your apprentices self esteem. You should never make statments like " I can do that beter then you" or "you will never do that", "you can never be as good as me". There must be a certian amount of self control on the masters part as well

of course, that is one of the principles of teaching, to inspire, promote, and guide one's students.

to answer your questions an apprentice of mine seems to believe hes more powewrful and that i am delusional in certain goals of mine. i simple laughed at him and released him as my apprentice, all because he wanted his own apprentice i told him that he was no where near ready for one and then he called me delusional. hehhehe whatever. people like that will always be acolytes, and never masters lol

but if there are any un mentored apprentices here on the site i am willing to put my time into you, you mearly must be willing to learn...

i can answer this from the apprentice point of view, not only being one here now,but being one in occult structures as well.

often, when becomming an apprentice, one can get antsy,or impatient, which is not good cause patience is a sith trait. when we get like this, its easy to overlook core virtues, because often the inexperienced person,is frensied in thought and action. this is true more so of young apprentices, apposed to older ones like myself, whom have experienced alot in practices similar to sith.

my patience starting out,is strong, but that came from years of stupid descisions, and mistakes in my youth.

the knowledge achieved, though miniscule, can seem like an ocean, that swallows a young apprentice in,making him believe that he has found this treasure of knowledge, and his lack of control, leads him to get arrogant, and he reacts badly to criticism.

its a typical reaction of inexperienced youth,to great knowledge that they obviousely cannot handle yet.
its trial and error, and they will learn.

Lol your ignorance like that might one day be your down fall... but no worry really... this is all a forum and their is no contact usually between members on here and is usually for shits and giggles... Remember that the student you ontake usually has some experiances and teaches you may not know about and might be ahead of you in some subjects, while others you are the master of.

well in either case the he was young more often then not i find that young apprentices have issues wraping thier mind around the vastness of the force, as well as the depth of wisdom to understand it. luckily, i have found my apprentice it was well worth the wait. intelligent and very capable. im confident in his abilities.

However, realize that it is not physical age that matters, instead it is mental age that matters most.

It is never truly a matter of age, but more a matter of potential and patience. If one's apprentice has the potential to be great then it would be worth the effort, but only if the master is willing to be patient and wait for them to come of proper age to learn the teachings that they wish to pass on.
